Card on File is the 1-CP term for centrally stored cards. This can be a regular credit card, but also a so-called lodged card, central billing account or business travel account where one card number is reused for bookings. Card on File is one of the Corporate payment methods you set up yourself in the Corporate portal.
Store the card
In the Corporate portal, under Issuing & Payments, you open the wizard via Add Configuration and choose Card on File as the payment source.
You store the card directly: card number, expiry, CVV and cardholder, saved via Store Card. Supported cards are American Express, AirPlus UATP, Mastercard and Visa (VCF). The card is stored securely in tokenized form.
