Via the 1-CP integration layer, you integrate the merchant's booking engine (e.g. for alternative accommodation, parking or other long-tail content) directly with SAP Concur. Profile data and booking data are transferred automatically between Concur and the merchant's booking engine.
Key features
Profile synchronization: The integration is activated via the SAP Concur App Center. When employees connect, 1-CP securely transfers their Concur profile data to the merchant's booking engine and pre-fills all necessary information. More in Profile synchronization.
Punch-Out integration: You provide access to the merchant's booking engine directly in the Concur Travel dashboard. You can set up this Punch-Out in two ways:
Direct link: A linked image or text block is placed in a relevant search area (e.g. in the hotel search widget). This shows employees directly where to book the merchant's offers.
Rule-based alert: A travel rule shows a pop-up message depending on the search. Examples:
Airport parking: When someone books a flight, the pop-up suggests: "Driving to the airport? Book your discounted parking here."
Long stay: If the trip is longer than 7 days, the pop-up points to: "For stays over 7 nights, please book via our long-stay partner [merchant name] here."
Specific location: If the destination is a key office location (e.g. Frankfurt), a rule can trigger: "Traveling to our Frankfurt HQ? Please book your [service] via [merchant name]."
Booking push-back: After employees have booked in the merchant's booking engine with the Corporate Checkout®, the 1-CP integration layer automatically pushes the booking data back to Concur. The booking then appears under My Trips and in the Trip Summary, so all travel data is consolidated for reporting, duty of care and expense processing.
Driving adoption and travel policy
We recommend listing the merchant and its purpose directly in your travel policy. If the pop-up refers to the policy (e.g. "As per our policy for xyz…"), employees know they are using the intended booking channel.
How to get started
