Creating a Corporate PayLink: general and items (steps 1 to 2)

How to create a Corporate PayLink via New Contract: transaction type, acquirer, widget, contract details and items.

With Corporate PayLink™ you send your corporate clients an offer or a payment request as a link. The recipient opens the link and pays directly through Corporate Checkout®. You start the process in the Merchant portal via New Contract, and the wizard guides you through six steps. This article covers steps 1 and 2.

1. General

You choose the Transaction Type (Proposal, Payment or Proposal payment), the Transaction Provider (your acquirer) and your Transaction Widget. A live preview on the right always shows what the recipient will see.

Then you have two options: With Create Contract using AI you upload a PDF (invoice, booking confirmation, quotation or itinerary), and the AI extracts all contract details automatically. Or you fill in the fields manually: transaction name, currency, recipient e-mail, an optional attachment, internal notes and, via Set Link Expire, an expiry date for the proposal and the checkout.

2. Items

Here you add the line items. Each item has a category (e.g. Flight, Accommodation, Rental Car, Parking, Rail, Event & Conferences or Other), a title, an optional description and CO2 value, a price with price type (Flat Fee, Per Hour, Per Day, Per Night, Per Week, Per Month) and a quantity. Each category offers additional fields, some of which are mandatory.

For taxes you select the Tax Charge Base (e.g. VAT, Bed Tax, City Tax or Country Tax) and enter the amount or percentage, the other field is calculated automatically. Optionally you attach a cancellation policy to the item. Use Add item to add more items.

How to continue with payment methods, payment schedule, summary and sending is covered in Creating a Corporate PayLink: payment, schedule and sending (steps 3 to 6).
