This provides a seamless experience for your users, allowing them to book specialized inventory (like long-stay apartments or parking) from the vendor while keeping profiles and booking data synchronized with Cytric.
Key Features
Profile Synchronization (CCPS): The 1-CP layer uses CCPS (cytric Companion for Profile Synchronization) to securely transfer user data. When a user punches out to the integrated vendor, their traveler details, billing information, Credit Card Details and other data are sent automatically. This provides a secure express checkout experience.
Punch-Out Integration: You can add links to the vendor's booking engine (powered by 1-CP) directly within the Cytric interface. This can be configured in two primary ways:
As an Additional Tab: A dedicated tab can be added for the vendor's content alongside the standard "Hotel" or "Flight" tabs. This provides constant, clear visibility. Tab examples can be specific categories not supported by Cytric yet such as "Airport Parking", "Serviced Apartments", "Event Bookings" or similar.
As a Rule-Dependent Alert: A message and link can be configured to appear based on the user's search criteria.
Example (Long Stay): If a search is for > 7 nights, a message can appear: "For long stays, please use our [Vendor Name] portal."
Example (Group Booking): If a user searches for > 3 rooms, an alert can guide them: "For group bookings, please click here to use our [Vendor Name] portal for special rates."
Example (Airport Parking): If a user books a flight from certain Airports, a pop-up could suggest: "Driving to the airport? Book your discounted Airport Parking here."
Booking Push-Back (PNR): When a booking is finalized in the vendor's engine, the 1-CP layer automatically sends the reservation data back to Cytric.
Driving Adoption & Policy
To ensure users understand why they should use this vendor, list the partner directly in your travel policy. This clarifies that the new tab or link is the correct, approved channel. Referencing the policy in any rule-based alerts (e.g., "Per policy, all long-stays must be booked via [Vendor Name]") also helps drive compliance and user adoption.
How to Get Started
