This connects the vendor's content to your Concur system, automating profile sync and data reporting.
Profile Synchronization: The integration is activated via the SAP Concur App Center. When a user connects, 1-CP securely transfers their Concur profile data to the vendor's booking engine, pre-filling all necessary information. This ensures data accuracy and a seamless user experience.
Punch-Out Integration: You can provide access to the vendor's booking engine from the Concur Travel dashboard. This "punch-out" can be configured in two main ways:
Direct Link: A hyperlinked image or text block can be placed in a relevant search area (e.g., in the "Hotel Search" widget). This gives users a clear, visible link to book special content from the vendor.
Rule-Based Alert: A travel rule can be configured to show a pop-up message. This is highly effective for guiding user behavior based on their search. Examples include:
Airport Parking: If a user books a flight, a pop-up could suggest: "Driving to the airport? Book your discounted Airport Parking here."
Long Stay: If a user's trip is longer than 7 days, a pop-up can direct them: "For stays over 7 nights, please book via our long-stay partner, [Vendor Name], here."
Specific Location: If the destination is a key office location (e.g., "Frankfurt"), a rule can trigger: "Traveling to our Frankfurt HQ? Please book your [Service] via [Vendor Name]."
Booking Push-Back: After a user completes a booking in the vendor's engine using Corporate Checkout
, the 1-CP layer automatically pushes the booking data back to Concur. This booking will then appear in the user's "My Trips" section and "Trip Summary", ensuring all travel data is consolidated for reporting, Duty of Care, and expense processing.
To maximize adoption, it's highly recommended to list the vendor and its purpose directly within your travel policy. When the pop-up alert appears, referencing the policy (e.g., "As per our policy for xyz...") helps reinforce that the user is taking the correct, mandated action and drives them in the right direction.
Navigate to the SAP Concur App Center and find the 1-CP application.
Click "Connect" or "Login to Connect" to authorize 1-CP to manage the data synchronization.
In your Concur "Travel Administration" settings, use the "Travel Rule Builder" or "Custom Text" options to configure the punch-out links to your vendor's site.
